Camera Talk is the kind of song which makes you think, for the first six or so plays-through, that you are about to fall in love with it. This Local Natives single has everything, from the charming organ staccato to the subtle harmonies and incessant drum rolls.

I�m tempted to use one of those music journalist clich�s like, 'if Brian Wilson has been brought up in New Jersey then Lost Natives is EXACTLY how the Beach Boys would have sounded�. Luckily I haven�t.

The CD I got sent here was saved by its B-side. Covering the forgotten Talking Heads track, Warning Sign, the Lost Natives add a haunting oddness to their sound. Eerie harmonies and an awkward sounding guitar give the band a lift that helps them to stand out just that little bit more.

If you adored (and now miss) the 747s, then this band will definitely be worth a listen.
